About CurryHub USA
Our Story
CurryHub USA was founded in 2026 with a simple goal: make it easier for South Asian communities across the United States and Canada to find authentic Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, and Afghan restaurants near them. What started as a small directory of a few hundred restaurants has grown into a curated platform covering major South Asian diaspora hubs, including Edison NJ, Dublin/Fremont CA, Toronto/Brampton, Chicago, and Houston.
We noticed that while general platforms like Google Maps and Yelp list restaurants, they rarely capture the nuance that matters most to South Asian diners — the difference between a Punjabi dhaba-style eatery and a South Indian dosa specialist, or between a halal biryani house and a Gujarati thali restaurant. CurryHub USA was built to close that gap.
What We Do
CurryHub USA is a specialized restaurant discovery platform focused exclusively on South Asian cuisine in North America. We help:
- Diners find restaurants by city, cuisine type, and specialty dishes, with detailed information on hours, contact details, and location.
- Restaurant owners get discovered by a highly targeted audience actively searching for South Asian food, and claim or manage their listing with accurate, up-to-date information.
- Local communities stay connected to the culinary landmarks of their neighborhoods — from Oak Tree Road in Edison to Devon Avenue in Chicago and the Gerrard India Bazaar in Toronto.
Our Coverage
As of 2026, CurryHub USA lists restaurants across cuisine categories including Indian, South Indian, North Indian, Pakistani, Afghan, Halal, and Biryani specialists, spanning multiple major metropolitan areas with significant South Asian populations in the US and Canada. We are continuously expanding our coverage to new cities and refining our data to keep listings accurate.
Our Approach
We believe good directories are built on good data and genuine community relevance, not just volume. That's why every city page on CurryHub USA includes original, researched content about the local South Asian food scene, and why we organize listings by cuisine sub-type rather than lumping everything under a single "Indian food" label.
Looking Ahead
CurryHub USA is part of a growing family of digital platforms built to serve practical, everyday needs — from restaurant discovery to home services to financial tools. We're committed to continuously improving the platform, adding more cities, more restaurants, and more useful features for both diners and restaurant owners.
