Toronto's Gerrard India Bazaar — better known as Little India — is the largest South Asian marketplace in North America, anchored along Gerrard Street East between Coxwell and Greenwood. The neighborhood traces back to 1972, when a Bollywood movie theatre first drew South Asian visitors to the area, and it has grown since into a stretch of nearly 100 restaurants, sari shops, jewelers, and grocers serving Toronto's Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, and Nepali communities.
CurryHubUSA's Toronto listings bring together this diverse South Asian food scene, from long-running chaat houses and vegetarian thali spots to halal Pakistani kitchens and modern Indian bistros found throughout the city beyond Gerrard Street.
