About MOBA

MOBA is a chef-led modern Indian restaurant on Dundas Street West, run by husband-and-wife chefs Noor Gandhi and Mudit Narula. The two met while working at The Oberoi Amarvilas in Agra, trained in some of India's best-known kitchens, and ran restaurants in Canada before opening MOBA. The name joins the first syllables of their grandparents' names, Mohini and Balraj.

The cooking starts from familiar Indian flavours but is plated and paced like fine dining: seasonal, carefully composed, and meant to be eaten slowly.

What to order

• The à la carte menu is the way to start, and it changes with the seasons.
• The tasting menu is available with 48 hours' notice. Book it for a special occasion.
• The drinks list is full, with cocktails built to go with the food.
