BADSHAH BAR & INDIAN CUISINE

About Badshah Bar & Indian Cuisine

Badshah ("emperor") is a bar and Indian restaurant on Queen Street East in downtown Brampton. The menu covers tandoori, curries, Indian street food, momos and Hakka dishes. It's a place to eat and drink rather than a quiet curry house, with live music and sport on the screens.

What to order

• Momos: several styles, and one of the menu's headline sections
• Tandoori platters and grills to share with drinks
• Goat and chicken curries from the "goat lovers" and "chicken lovers" sections
• Hakka dishes and street food for snacking
• Mocktails: mango mojito, strawberry mojito, piña colada and a peppery lemon soda, plus a full bar

Good to know

• Busy on weekend evenings.
• Good beer and cocktail lists, with sport on TV.
